Spain registers 6.5% more companies dedicated to the infomediary sector
Employment in industry increases by 3.6%

Madrid, March 20, 2024.- As part of the celebration of its 25 years of experience. ASEDIE has presented behind closed doors the 12th Annual Report on the “Data Economy in its infomediary field”. This milestone not only stands out for the analysis of the growth and evolution of the data economy . But also for a retrospective of the achievements made thanks to the close relationship and collaboration with Public Administrations . The report highlights that, in contrast to the first one in which 444 companies were identifi, in this edition the number rises to 756 active companies as of December 31, 2022. An industry that already employs 23,294 professionals in Spain , representing a 3.6% increase compared to the previous year. In addition, this dynamic shadow making has resulted in an increase in user confidence and a global turnover of €2,331M , marking an increase of 2.4% compared to the previous year.
