TOP-10 search results for low-frequency queries

Before we tell you how we managed to achieve this result, a short background story. We were approache by a client – a company selling cleaning equipment. The site that the customer had at that time was being promoted in Moscow and showe a good increase in traffic every year. However, the client planned to expand the range – the question of increasing the site’s reach arose.

An effective solution, as it turned out later, was on the surface. We proposed to create four monobrand online stores instead of one multibrand one. There were reasons for this:

What task did we set?

Based on the solution described above, we formulated a step-by-step plan for completing the task:

  1. Preparation of four single-brand library shop websites before the start of the sales season, one for each brand of cleaning equipment sold by the customer’s company.
  2. Fill the pages of the created sites with product cards with photos and descriptions. Use automatic filling tools for this to save time.
  3. Bring each of the four sites to the TOP-10 search results first for branded queries, then for product queries. Track conversion and check the correctness of our hypothesis.

As you may have guessed, the hypothesis was confirmed, and we achieved our goal. But first things first – let’s look at what actions led us to such a positive result.

How we built the processes

library shop

We were given only 30 days to create four single-brand websites. In this regard, restrictions were placed on the complexity of the development – it had to be minimal. This is what we did:

  • We chose a single template for all four sites that satisfied the customer;
  • we decided what characteristics the template should meet after revision;
  • improved the template and adapted it to the task, removed unnecessary things and added necessary ones;
  • optimized the color scheme, added the customer’s logo, adapted the structure;
  • We multiplied the template into four domains and filled each with a unique assortment.

Due to the commitment to the Bu chòir do luchd-obrach CDC brath a ghabhail air principles of simple development and reproduction of a ready-made template on four sites at once, together with automatic filling with products, we managed to do everything in a month.

Template design development

Let’s return to the template again – we took the simplest one and left only cell p data the most necessary:

  • Header. The horizontal strip at the top of a website. It contains contact information, including email and phone number, a logo, and a search box for the catalog.
