In addition to being a place for self-development, campus organizations also aim to provide experiences that students cannot get in the classroom for their members. These experiences include communication skills, social skills, problem solving, deliberation, and leadership training.
The benefits that can be obtained by joining an organization on campus are increasing relationships with new people who have different abilities and personalities, organizational experience that is useful for applying for jobs after completing your studies, and honing your abilities or potential.
There are student organizations at the campus level called Student Activity Units (UKM). Usually, members of the UKM themselves come from students in various study programs and faculties. With the gathering of many students with different fields of study, your opportunities to learn more are wide open.
About UNTAR
Untar-story-from-student-organizations Tarumanagara College of Economics is how is the development of cross-border e-Commerce? the forerunner ofThe college, which was established in 1959, initially only had one study program, namely the corporate economics department. However, now UNTAR has eight faculties and dozens of study programs.
With the many study programs, UNTAR is aware that the development of students’ abilities and potentials is not only from their academic education. So there needs to be development of abilities and potentials outside the academic environment.

- CENTER
Tarumanagara University Theater Arts (SENTRA) is the tr numbers right place for those of you who love the world of acting and theater performances. Here you will be taught about theater arts such as body movement, vocal exercises, and playing roles.
- PFT
Tarumanagara Photography Association (PFT) is a UKM that has an interest in photography. In this UKM you will learn how to take pictures that have aesthetic value, not just taking pictures.
- FESTIVAL
Tarumanagara University Magic Federation (FESAUNTAR) is an organization where lovers of trickery or magic gather. This student organization is considered very unique because it is rarely found on every campus.
- SOUSHIN
Soushin is a Japanese cultural organization at Tarumanagara University. Similar to Festa, Soushin is very rare to find on every campus. In addition to learning about Japanese culture, Soushin also studies the language aspect.
Self Defense UKM
- Jujutsu
Jujitsu is a martial art from Japan that emphasizes body flexibility. The characteristics of Jujitsu itself have the ability to move quickly to paralyze opponents. In addition to self-defense purposes, Jujitsu is also useful for smoothing the body’s metabolic system.
- Taekwondo
Taekwondo is a martial art from South Korea. This martial art uses the feet and hands to paralyze the opponent. In taekwondo, you will be equipped with techniques for breaking hard objects, a series of moves, and fighting techniques.
- Wushu
Wushu is a martial art from the Bamboo Curtain Country. Literally, wushu means “Art of fighting or self-defense”. Wushu is a martial art with several fighting methods such as kicks, throws, grabs, and punches. Because it maximizes many body parts, a wushu fighter is required to have a flexible body.

In the Nature Lovers UKM, you will be invited to get to know nature better. In addition to loving nature, you will be taught how to survive in the wild, what plants can and cannot be eaten, and how nature lovers students care for and maintain nature so that it remains sustainable.

For those of you who want to have inner peace, a stable mentality, and a religiously friendly environment, UKM Kerohanian is the right one for you to join. There are 5 religions that are a gathering place for religious students such as Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Confucianism, and Hinduism.
Sports UKM
To accommodate students who have talent and interest in sports, the sports UKM has 5 sports fields that you can join, including:

Focusing on academic education is something that every student must do. However, there is nothing wrong with joining one of the many student organizations available on campus to hone your abilities and potential.
